The well-known Lear Jet series of business jets dates back to the Learjet 23 of 1963. The Learjet company was acquired by Bombardier in 1990.
Development of the Lear Jet 45 was announced in 1992; the first flight was on 7 October 1995, and first deliveries followed from January 1998. A Learjet 45 was the 2000th Learjet delivered, in August 1999, and the 100th Learjet 45 was delivered in October 2000.
Falling in size between the Lear Jet 31 and 60, the Lear jet 45 cabin accommodates double club seating, a galley and a full width rest room.
Not recommended for children under the age of 3. Small parts may present choking hazard. Color schemes may vary.
